KEY CHALLENGES IN FM TO BE ADDRESSED IN SECTOR-WIDE CONFERENCE

Supply Chain Sustainability School to host conference aimed at transforming the FM sector

The Supply Chain Sustainability School will host a conference on 11th March, specifically for the facilities management sector, to mark an exciting and challenging year of activity amongst its FM Partners. The event focus is on the transformations needed for the FM sector to play its full role in delivering a sustainable built environment across the entire value chain.

The event will:
Highlight some of the key achievements of the School and its Partners in addressing some of the biggest sustainability challenges facing the FM sector, its client base and supply chain and where we go from here
Identify emerging challenges that will reshape the way FM must operate within the existing built environment
Facilitate a series of debates involving representatives from the whole FM value chain to develop practical ideas for a sustainable future

Speakers include:
Catriona Brady, Head of Better Places for People at the World Green Building Council
Keith Chanter, Chief Executive Officer at EMCOR UK
Rory Murphy, Commercial Director at Vinci Facilities

Topics addressed in depth will include; enhancing wellbeing to achieve increased productivity, adopting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, tackling the financial and social imperatives of the single use plastics challenge, transforming to zero net carbon, and adopting a social value based business model.

The conference is free to attend and open to all. Attendees only need to register free of charge with the School to attend.
